I have been a patient of Dr. Alberg's for years. He does good work. I have since changed dentists because I was dissatisfied with the unprofessional treatment received. The receptionist is rude and clueless. I received an invoice in Dec. for a procedure that I had in July and had already paid in full. I went in with my receipt and explained there must have been an error. The receptionist was her usual rude self and when presented with my receipt stating I paid in full, she said that I owed, but had to comb through my file to find exactly what I owed. I then told her that the dentist said he would not charge me for that procedure. She replied that I was not to be charged for the procedure, but because I did not come in to complete another, I was charged. I explained to her that I did not come in yet because I did not have the money since the procedure was one that my insurance would not cover. In all my years I have never gone in for a procedure I could not pay for. They had submitted the paperwork to my insurance company and received partial payment and what I owed, was what the insurance would not cover. I paid and left, but I will never use this dentist again. I do not trust, neither do I respect someone who goes back on their word. I have been a faithful patient for years and have never owed, and to me this incident made me feel unappreciated and cheated. And although Dr. Alberg does good work, I will not recommend him to anyone. Potential clients beware.
