I was surprised to see that someone had a bad experience at Dr. Trichas's office. I had such a bad experience with another dentist that I hadn't seen a dentist in close to 5 years by the time I got to Dr. Trichas. A friend, who is also a dental-phobe, highly recommended him and said she would never go anyone else. There was some significant work that had to be done since I hadn't been to a dentist in so long, but it was as pleasant an experience as going to a dentist could possibly be. It has been 2 years now, and at every appointment the treatment, care, and concern for me has been top-notch. I have recommended several friends, and all have had positive experiences as well. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, caring, and goes out of their way to make you comfortable.

They made sure every single question I had was answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. They work well as a team. I grow more satisfied with each visit. The office is on a lovely and main road. It is elegant, clean and bright. They also worked with me to schedule visits which fit into my busy work schedule. Ths is important to me.

went to this dentist after he was recommended by several family members, and it’s easy to see why. He is one of the friendliest dentists I’ve ever met, and his staff is just as nice. He practices out of a gorgeous Victorian house that is easily accessible in the heart of downtown Montclair. The cleanliness and appearance of the facility is impeccable.
This was the only dentist I visited who recognized the fact that I had bruxism (teeth-grinding) and took steps to combat it. I had severe tooth sensitivity, which declined greatly after treatment. This dentist is also very concerned if patients are in pain during their visit, and takes steps to combat that as well.
If you cannot afford treatment all at once, they may be able to work out a payment plan for you. They did it for my friend to whom I recommended Dr. Trichas. She put off going to dentists for a long time, but after seeing him once she completely lost her fear! He is also great with kids.
