Let me just say that the chairs in their waiting room are quite comfortable. Its nice that they care about patient comfort. They briefly listened to me, but quickly downplayed everything I said or stopped paying attention. I was searching for an English speaking dentist. I know that your native languarge is what you will be using the majority of the time if the office is of that majority. I just wanted to make sure that I understood what is being done while the dentist and his assistant is holding a conversation while peforming a procedure. This was not the case. Spanish was spoken during my whole procedure and the listing stated that is was English only. The dentist was friendly enough. They weren't overly nice but I felt comfortable there. I did have xrays, but was not explained before oral examination on what was wrong or not wrong with my teeth. The oral examination was performed by dentist and I was told that I need fillings. My concerns with the dentist and his assistant was he answered his cell phone which was in his lab jacket pocket while I was in the chair and held a brief conversation with my mouth open and the suction tube stuck to my tongue. He did not change his gloves after this conversation. His assistant was called in and she did not put on gloves in which she used an instrument that was placed in my mouth as well as maneuver my head to place this instrument correctly. No gloves. Did not leave because all of this happened after I was numb and the dentist had started placing the fillings. After work was completed, I was given an appointment, but no paperwork on the procedures received or followup instructions. Told verbally that if I have any complications to call the office. The whole event was a first time that I have ever had such treatment in a dental office so I was appalled. I am not writing this review for you not to see this dentist but explaining my experience. If this review may help you in any way to make a decision, I wish you the best of luck. I myself will not return. I also want to say that although I am using Medicaid, you should get quality treatment no matter who is paying for it if you believe that you are providing this service to make it better for others.
