I too had an appointment and the dentist left for the day. She took my money up front then the dentist made some time consuming mistakes and I had to go back for many visits when all should have been done in 2 visits. Another time she kept me waiting for 40 minutes past my appointment time to visit with a friend while I sat in the next room waiting for her. I know she was socializing with her friend because she didn't have the place built to provide for privacy so one can hear and see pretty much everything. Her personality is not warm or welcoming, no bed side manner & I would have to say her ego is pretty inflated to such a degree she never apologized to me but her staff did on her behalf - pretty sad customer care. Dr. G also has a sign in her waiting room that if you have an emergency you need give 48 hours notice or will be billed $50.00 - since when do emergencies happen with so much advance notice? More of a focus on the money I have concluded and not on good quality patient care. I will not be returning. I was impressed with the staff and the hygienist who are warm, welcoming

I would not recommend this dentist particularly since on one occasion the receptionist/office manager provided dental service to my daughter by gluing in a loose temporary crown. Very unprofessional and possibly unethical. The bite on the permanent crown wasn't correct and Dr. Guardino kept telling her it would feel better. She never even realized the bite was wrong. Her incompetence caused my daughter swelling, pain, and additional visits to another specialist to resolve. That's when I knew I needed to find a better practice. In addition, the dentist occasionally would run late/be slow in taking you when you arrive for an appointment.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I felt like my needs were mostly met, but they didn't make any extra effort. The office was easy enough to find. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.
Shady billing practices at best. The Dr does excellent work but her staff is unethical and rude

On my first visit, I had a cleaning appointment. Everything was great, but the doctor had been called away and wasn't in. After a second cleaning 2 weeks later, she again wasn't in. (I've never had a cleaning when the dentist DIDN'T check in on you...) For my 3rd visit I had a cavity filled and a VERY bad reaction to Novocaine. Heart racing, tremors, very faint & itchy, my symptoms lasted for about 4 hrs... it was very scary and I had to work myself up just to go back a 4th time. In the meantime, the original tooth that was filled was painful to chew with, but thought I'd give it some time to "settle" and have it looked at when I went back 2 weeks later for a cavity on the other side.
She said the hurting tooth was normal (even though I can't chew on that side). I disagreed, but I'm not a dentist! She also said that the side effects of the Novocaine was normal as well. She didn't believe the severity of it, even though I almost passed out in her chair the first time. I was told that my only other choice was to get a different drug- one without Epinephrine (though it would hurt- badly.) Though I tried to get specifics out of her, I was not walked through how much it would hurt, what would be done if it hurt too bad to continue etc. Not being THAT brave, I hesitated to have the procedure done- I shouldn't have worried.
She kicked me out of the chair and told me to find another dentist after I questioned her work and knowledge. I'm a very soft spoken person and it took a lot for me to speak up, raise a question and voice my concern over the drug. To be shot down and made to feel like a child is inexcusable. The hygienist at this facility was awesome, but DO NOT go if you need to see an actual dentist.
My review title isn't joking: I left in tears.
