Total Dental Care of Mattituck has been our dentist for about 15 years. We always get a friendly welcome from the girls at the front desk, and love that when we have an appointment, we are always seen on time! Our regular dentist (Dr. Melton) is awesome! He takes the time to explain every procedure and frequently checks to make sure we're ok! Need a break- take a break! Explains follow-up care to a tee! The hygienists do an exceptional job (love the goodie bag!).
TDC works closely with our insurance to make sure our out of pocket cost is nil or none at all.
Overall, I would highly recommend TDC ! Actually don't dread going to the dentist! Can't beat that !!

THE WORST dental care, looks are deceiving, I wish I would have known about all the bad reviews before getting my root canal done. It has been two years since I was in the offices and I just had to get my root canal ( which I paid out of pocket) redone, found out that TOTAL DENTAL CARE only did 1/2 of my root canal, got a infection in my tooth and had to re pay for the job again- if these reviews took photos- the x-rays are shocking!!. I actually stopped going because the front desk was rude and did not know how to do their jobs of billing. This is a hack dental office and NO ONE should get any work done at this business. To bad this review does not allow me to upload my photos

My teeth cleaning felt kind of rushed. I was hoping they would spend more time on them. A cleaning also used to take 45 minutes. Then it was cut down to 30 minutes. If you're lucky, you now get 15 minutes.

Let me just say that the chairs in their waiting room leave something to be desired. Filthy. Lots of dark stains on them. Did they find thgese chairs at the dump? They could use an upgrade. My appointment felt a little rushed. I understand that they are busy, but I would have liked a little more time. I'm not sure I should return.

The staff is also not very friendly.. AJ and Fran are the worst at the front desk. Others staff members seem to be OK. A few are actually very good. Depends on what day to go with different people at the front desk. So, if you can put up with the mostly poor attitude of the office staff (such as AJ and Fran), then this dentist is for you.

The dentist, Dr. Korn, is actually quite good. Other than being a bit gruff at times, he seems to be a good dentist. But be prepared for the Grateful Dead. He likes to play them when he works on you. I like the Dead, so no problem, but not everyone does.
