Made an appt after asking manager if they take our insurance...she said yes and then proceeded to ask if my child was ever at the dentist. I said she is a great patient. Arrived for appointment with the understanding that they took our insurance and we would be having comprehensive care done. Instead my child was the only one who got care while i had an exam no cleaning. Then i was told they do not take our insurance and had to pay out of pocket. And they said the next vist would thousands of dollars to cover cleanings, fillings, a possible root canal and who knows what else. If the office was honest from the beginning we would have never made the appt. We feel scammed out of hundreds of dollars that we would have never paid if they took our insurance! Worst dentist decision ever! And i agree with the following survey results: They definitely pressured me to buy products. I felt like they were just trying to make money off me. The magazines in their waiting room were so boring. It made my time in the waiting room drag. I got an appointment quickly. I've never had to wait too long. Everything they originally told me they would be able to do for me, they ended up not being able to do. I felt lied to. It's shocking how little they seem to care about customer service. From my experience It appears as if customers are never put first here. The staff is incredibly rude and seem to care more about themselves.

I have been going to Dr Waldron for over 10 years. I don't know what's happened within the last 3 years, but this office has gone down hill. His office staff is so rude and they really don't care about the patient. Dr Waldron and his team pressure you to get procedures done and even if you explain that you don't have the money, they keep pushing and demanding that you do it.
The latest thing that has pushed me to write this review was regarding a retainer for my daughter. Dr Waldron insisted that I HAD to get a special retainer made for my daughter as she has 1 tooth missing and will need an implant when she's older. He was having a tooth placed on the retainer and it made so the wire goes behind her teeth. Well, my daughter comes home from the appointment telling me that Dr Waldron ordered the wrong retainer. Instead of ordering a new one, he wants to alter the wrong retainer by removing the bar. WHAT????
So I'm trying to have a new appointment made so molds can be done AGAIN for my daughter. As of today, they're telling me they cannot get me in until 7/22 and that they only do these on Mondays. Again, WHAT? You made the mistake, get her in! I'm still waiting for him to call us back, but they want her to go about 3 months without a retainer. BUT they had no problem taking my check for $350.

I would not recommend anyone to go to this office and I will be looking for a new dentist. They've lost an established patient due to lack of care.

When I called they seemed very nice over the phone. I go to the appointment and am pulled in, explain my problem and explain I don't have too much money but am in lots of pain. I'm told they will see what is going on with my tooth. They show me and tell what needs to be done and the amount of everything. I tell the lady in the room it's too much n I can't afford the amount and need to go home and talk money. That's when she seemed to change and get an attitude left the room Dr came in tried to explain and push it too.The lady came in again and just was rude and distant because I was not going to do anything right away....its like i was $ signs for them i will not go back and recommend no one go there. 1. Very pushy 2. Expensive 3. Not understanding at all

Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident as a new paitient. The office was very easy to locate, clean, organized, and technologically advanced. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they are by far the best In the area.

This office is the friendlest and most thorough dental office in Middletown, NY. Dr. Michael Waldron and his team really know how to make their patients feel comfortable and relaxed. Also, the hygienist, Terri Delaney is the best with children. My daughter had a horrible experience with a specialist and she just loved seeing Terri. It started a chain of good experiences for her and I appreciate that so much. Give them a call at 845-343-6615 and see for yourself how great they are!
