I was a patient of Dr. Ryan's for about three years. I didn't know how poorly I was being treated until I left the country. On the surface, everything seemed ok, but as of now, three fillings that she had completed are starting to act up, and one of them got so bad I needed a root canal! My teeth have always been in good condition, but honestly, I sincerely believe she completely messed up my oral well being. First off, when it comes to fillings, the default in Dr. Ryan's office are of the metal variety (I didn't even think dentists still used those). She simply did not alert me that white fillings would cost a total of 30 dollars extra, until the procedure was completed! The result, I had a metal filling on one of my bicuspids that was so obvious, I looked like I had permanent spinach in my teeth. Her response, oh, don't worry no one will notice...THESE ARE MY TEETH WE'RE TALKING ABOUT. After getting fed up, I decided to change the fillings to white about a year later. I should've gone to another dentist. Not only were they drilled to the point where my teeth were COMPLETELY OBLITERATED, the drilling on one of them was so close to the nerve that she killed it. As a result, I had to get a root canal three months later. The other one she worked on is so sensitive (because the filling wasn't done right and actually has gaps where food accumulates), that I will likely have another one as well. During my time with her, she also informed me that I had a cavity on the back of one of my two front teeth and I stupidly let her work on it. The dentist I see now couldn't see anything that would cause this sort of alarm and informed me that the procedure was entirely unnecessary. So there you have it. Stay far FAR away. She is hasty, does not do a thorough job and only cares about her office making money (she actually said that white fillings are too expensive for her to do, so she avoids recommending them to patients).

All the equipment at this office seems very safe and current. Everything looks well taken care of and fairly new. They always explain every aspect of my dental procedures to me. I never have to worry. It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back.
