Dr. Jeffrey Katz is a fantastic dentist--better than any dentist I have gone to in the past. I can honestly say that I go to Dr. Katz free of anxiety and trepidation. I find him to be smart, competent, and thorough, as well as kind, calm, and patient; he begins each visit by allowing me the time to articulate what I am experiencing and what may be my concerns. He is knowledgeable about the latest research in the field of dentistry and equips his office with up-to-date technology. I am totally confident in his expertise and thankful that he administers Novocaine practically painlessly. I have been pleased with any dental procedure Dr. Katz has done, including the precision with which he has capped a few teeth.
Dr. Katz runs a patient-oriented practice and this attitude is reflected in his entire staff. Each member of the dental team approaches me with kindness and engenders confidence in her ability. The office manager, Ms. Johanna Nunez, is terrific. Ms. Nunez schedules appointments more often than not with a minimum of wait time, is knowledgeable of, and quite helpful with, insurance issues, and goes the extra mile to accommodate my sometimes difficult schedule. Like her colleagues, she is pleasant, friendly, and respectful always. There is a special camaraderie between Dr. Katz and his staff that adds to the overall positive atmosphere in the office. The extra bonus is his convenient and free parking. It's a pleasure to write this review and a pleasure to have Dr. Katz as my dentist!

Like a lot of the other reviewers, I also had a really bad experience with Dr. Katz . Extremely rude and unprofessional. He only cares for doing crowns ( he makes even the fillings to crowns because...fillings are much cheaper of course!!!) and the only thing he is interested in is to make you start the Invisalign (the most expensive he can!!!).He is not even registered with the American Dental Association!!!DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Dr. Katz and his staff always takes great care of me and my family members! We are beyond pleased with the whole practice. We LOVE the new office - it's beautiful.

Like some of the other reviewers, I too had a bad experience with Dr. Katz for the same reason--his (and his staff's) unprofessionalism, rude behavior, and most of all, his performing medically uneccesary procedures in order to charge my insurance company. I went in for a routine cleaning and was basically told that my teeth would fall out if I didn't get a deep scale cleaning of my gums and an expensive antibiotic. They told me that they would obtain a pre-authorization from my insurance company and then start the procedure in an hour. After everything was said and done, I was asked to pay for the antibiotic ($300!) because insurance doesn't cover it. I was surpised when I got a bill from them in the mail for the price of the entire procedure, and another $300 for the antibiotic I already paid for; they had tried to bill my insurance company for the antibiotic after already receiving my payment for the antibiotic! It turns out my insurance company was refusing to pay because the procedure wasn't necessary based on what Dr. Katz had submitted to them. I had to go back and forth with his RUDE staff to get them to submit x rays and periodontal charting to the insurance company so that they would pay. They also refused to give me a copy of my own chart. My insurance company turned around and paid a portion of it, saying that based on what was re-submitted, they determined that the procedure was only necessary on SOME teeth, not my entire mouth, which is what Dr. Katz had billed for. Long story short, I am stuck with the balance and a terrible experience with Dr. Katz--who by the way is not even registered with the American Dental Association. I wish I would have done my research before going to this poor excuse of a dentist.

It was nice of them to offer some sample toothbrushes and toothpaste for me to take home. I was able to figure out which toothpaste I liked without having to buy anything. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. They were one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been meeting or exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. The restrooms at this office were spotless. The office and waiting areas looked immaculate. The office staff and dental hygienist could not have been more helpful and knowledgeable. It's always a pleasant experience to see my dentist.

They gave me all the information I needed about fees and payment plans before they scheduled my treatment. I appreciated them giving me enough information to consider my options before paying for it. I ended up spending quite a bit for my visit. They were very expensive. I was pretty surprised with how far away this business was from everything. It took me forever to get there and I kept getting lost. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else.
