It had been a long time since I have had a child who needed dentistry work. My B had been breastfeeding with her birth mother. When B fussed she was given the breast and later a bottle for feeding, quieting and about anything else. B had “milk mouth” as the pooling milk around her teeth had been rotting them away. We were blessed with B just days after her 1st birthday. We knew she had some dental issues but was putting off the dentist as long as possible so she could bond with and learn to trust us. She is also on Sooner Care which made it a little harder finding an office that would accept new patients and could work with a then four year old. I wish I had made the leap sooner! The office staff is awesome and patient—even working me into a busy day as I came a day early for the appointment. I drive an hour to get there and was so grateful they could help. The dental staff are some of the best pediatric dental practitioners and my B leaves with a smile on her face and a balloon animal under her arm. She thinks the dentist is cool, nice, and funny. I very much appreciate the extra efforts they give every time we are there. Plan on keeping B there even after our adoption is final.
