I use to work for Dr. Nichols and there office is awesome compared to several other oral surgeons offices out there! Since they are a specialty office they do require certain imaging that is different then what you get at the dentist office but you can always request a copy and have it sent to your dentist office! Since they are a specialty office they don't have the relationship that one would have with their dentist per say so they do require the fees that won't be covered upfront or through a payment plan like care credit. I have had my share of surgeries through a specialist at a hospital and they almost always collected the amount that the insurance company was not going to cover or I set up a payment plan so Dr. Nichols office is no different. I can't tell you how many times his office went out of their way to be kind to a patient who didn't have any money, whos dentsit would call on their behalf and say that this patient was in good standing and always paid their monthly dentist bill but would never pay us a dime. This is the reason for collecting the amount that the insurance company won't cover or at least won't guarentee over the phone that they will cover a certain procedure! Dr. Nichols office is truly wonderful and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an oral surgeon. I would only send my kids to his office or make an appt with Dr. Jay Malmquist as well =)

Was sent to him for my son wisdom teeth he was not happy with xrays taken the day befor so did new ones , did exam of teeth insist that all 4 wisdom be pull when only the bottom 2 realy needed at this time had just seem a dentist the day befor not guesing at this, have dental insurance covering this at 100% was made to pay bill in full $180.oo for being looked at that day /was not told about payment needed same day as service
then asked that we pay $1000.oothe day he was to pull his wisdom teeth which was covered at 50% by insurance so no way it was going to cost that much out of pocket.needless to say we went else where at lot less cost and less hasle/and now they owe us $179.oo back that we paid but won't cut a check till end of the month lol figures pay them day of service now and they will pay you back after they earn the interest off every ones money.
