The actual treatment was fine, but the billing practices are questionable. I have excellent insurance which would have paid for my surgery almost in full, had Conestoga told me they were out of network. They collected my insurance card, both medical and dental, at my consultation. They told me their practice is to collect in full at time of service and then reimburse when paid by insurance. They also filed incorrectly, and I had to follow up twice. Once the billing was finally processed (4 months later), I was left holding the bag for 50%. Had they mentioned they were out of network, I would have had the proper information from my provider and would have taken my business elsewhere. Thankfully I know now, as my daughter needs to have her impacted wisdom teeth removed. We will definitely not return to Conestoga, and I will not recommend them to anyone else. Honesty and integrity are very important to me and Conestoga fell short on both.

I scheduled an appointment for consultation and the receptionist has informed most they charge for consultation is $90 with x-rays. My dentist also had referred said the consultation will be around $90. I came to the office and they charge $188. This is very misinformative. They claimed the dentist needs more x-rays. So supposedly the dentist wants to take 20 x-rays. They don't have to tell me that I would be more and just charge me whatever at the end? Places I went to for consultation are free with x rays. This place is so rip off. Please watch for their fees.

Unfortunately I needed an emergency extraction due to an abscessed tooth. They were able to get me in for an appointment the day I called, once I got clearances from my OB provider due to early pregnancy. Let me just say that I hate going to the dentist and through the wonderful work of Dr Roy Flint in Lancaster, I have been getting better with my anxiety. The doctor I saw at Conestoga (Dr. Yingling) was horrible when giving the local anesthetic - each time it hurt! With Dr Flint, he goes slow and makes sure the patient is comfortable when doing the anesthetic. Dr Yingling left me alone for a bit to get numb, then came back in and gave some more anesthetic (which hurt again!), and said when there is an infection, it is harder to get it numb. Then he starts the process of extracting the tooth, and it hurt so bad. And even though i'm making noise and saying ow, trying not to scream from the pain, he still kept going. Didn't even give me a chance to try and catch my breath and calm down to work through the pain. Never in my life did I expect to feel the whole thing! I barely made it out of the building before I burst into tears from the pain. I have another tooth that needs to be extracted, and needless to say, I will not go back to Dr. Yingling for that one.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They answered my questions and spent a lot of time with me. I didn't feel like they were trying to rush my appointment at all.

I was so terrifed .
Dr ECKART and his assistant were professional and personable.
Wish I had $20,000 to do more!
