On June 21st I called for a dental appointment because I had not used this office for over 10 yrs. I was told that a dentist would have to call me back because of the length of time that I had visited that office and the receptionist said that she couldn't find my information but I noticed she was saying my old number I had had 10yrs ago as I was giving my information. I was told before the appoint could be made a dentist would have to call me before an appointment could be made. I was NOT told up front by the receptionist nor the dentist that I would be charged $50 to just schedule an appt. I asked several times what I would have to pay when I came in for my dental appointment on July 9 and was told by the dentist $160. She did not tell me that a $50 fee would be charged to make an appt. The receptionist did not tell me I was getting what the bill calls a teledent. Because of Covid-19 fears I decided to cancel on July 8 2020 and was told to call back when ready to schedule an appt. I received a $50 bill in the mail to pay for phone call to schedule an appt.
