Been to this dentist over 20 years. I had 6 mth check up last Wed and received a call saying they would not accept Keystone 65 preferred which is covered under united concordia for 2 checks a year and co pay dropped to $10 this year.
They said doc was out of network. Everytime you go the hygenist cleans and takes caRE OF EVERYTHING. tHEN WHAT EVER DOC IS AVAILABLE comes in to look over which takes less than minute.
Never knpw what doc will see you. Concordia looked at doc I saw in July and said the doc did not accept insurance. Patient has no control over the doc that will look at you. BIG RIP OFF. The girls do all work and money hungry doc will not accept ins. payment. I should not have to pay $140 they asked for since my Keystone lists them as provider for check up and cleaning. AVOID THIS PLACE.

they quoted me a price for a bridge. It was $500 plus my insurance...I paid that amount then 3 month later I get another bill for $500. When I questioned it they changed it to $100...I refused to pay. They don't know what they are doing as pertaining to insurance/payment. Since the original dentist sold the practice to company it's gone down hill....Cleaning use to be $50 now they give me a special for $89 what a joke....I'm looking for another dentist..

My daughter is a patient at this facility. The staff seems to focus far more on payment than on ensuring that the client is adequately apprised regarding treatment plans and options. I have asked questions about my daughter treatment which were answered by people working the front desk without consulting a dentist. In the most recent situation, the answer I was given was patently incorrect. When I asked to discuss my daughter's treatment plan with someone, I was sent to speak with a woman in the office who handles "treatment plans". She handed me a sheet of paper with three procedures listed on it and the related costs. When I explained that I was not interested in the financial aspect but wanted insight into my daughter's dental treatment, she told me that I asked the wrong question and should have said that I had a clinical question. In any other medical establishment with which I've been involved, a "treatment plan" reflects the clinical treatment that a patient will receive. It is not a financial document.

I have experienced a great deal of rude and dismissive treatment at this office. Had my daughter's treatment not progressed this far, I would change providers but I do not want to have to begin with the requisite initial appointment/ re-evaluation after my daughter has already undergone extensive treatment.

An aside, and simply an irritant, we have already shown up for an appointment and been sent away because there was no appointment showing on the office's computer records despite having a card written by the office with the appointment date on it. The office asked if we had received a confirming phone call for the appointment and when I responded that we had not, I was told that the absence of a confirming phone call means that there was no appointment scheduled. Also, the office often calls to ask that we come in earlier if possible because the doctor is running ahead. I always try to accomodate. Yet, for one Saturday morning appointment, when we were running a few minutes behind, I received a call from the office on my cell phone. I explained that we were minutes away and referenced a nearby landmark - "Giant Foods". I was put on hold then told that our appointment was cancelled because we were late. I turned around to drive home then decided I was too outraged and drove to the office, arriving about ten minutes past the scheduled appointment time to find the front door locked. I had to walk around the building to gain entrance. I finally entered the office about 15 minutes past the scheduled time - far later than I would have arrived absent the phone call cancellation. The office was empty of clients. I spoke with a man at the front desk who said that the woman cancelled my appointment because I was food shopping! Holy lack of listening and logic skills, Batman!!! If the woman was actually confused by my reference to Giant Foods as a landmark, shouldn't she have asked for clarification?

Overall, a lousy experience outside the clinical realm. I am going to attempt to contact the office to discuss these issues but suspect I will hit another stone wall.

I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. I wasn't too impressed with the staff. They could have been a lot more friendly.Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable.Did not seem to understand I was not financially able to agree to services they recommended, even though I have insurance. I still could not afford it.
