I was extremely disappointed and frustrated by my visit to Gentle Dental. After a brief glance at my teeth, I was bluntly told that I had 8 cavities and would need 6 fillings and 2 extractions. I was very surprised because I have always had pretty good teeth. In addition to that, I was not given information about the procedures I needed (ie. how long they would take, how much recovery time I would need, etc) until I specifically asked. I think a dentist should give you information about what you are going to go through. There was also a 45 minutes wait, which I think is a little long!

After all of this, I got a 2nd opinion, and it turns out I only needed 2 fillings. I'm so glad I got a 2nd opinion, and I will never go back to Gentle Dental.

I was worried that I was going to be in a lot of pain when I left my appointment, but I wasn't at all. I felt absolutely fantastic and my mouth felt very clean. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly.

Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most. Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. The fillings and crowns I got only lasted a couple of weeks. They didn't do a very good job putting them on. I didn't experience any pain during my teeth cleaning. They are always very careful and gentle.
