I feel that I was lied to when I was told that porcelain crowns did not exist for children's molars. I found that they do, they are just more complicated. My son went for a general cleaning and check up. He had a pretty bad cavity which a previous dentist did not address properly. It was sprung on me that he needed three crowns and a the bad tooth pulled. When I questioned the silver crown, one staff member said that they did not have them, however I could try to shop around to find someone that could provide them. Then the dentist came in and told me that they did not even make porcelain crowns for children's molars. I felt very uneasy about my son having silver showing in his mouth. While I was trying to make a decision, I was told that we needed to hurry because they didn't have very much time. (They did not even have another appointment come in while I was there for three hours) They numbed my son's gums which for a six year old was hard. He began crying and was consistently told to stop crying, that there was no need in crying because it was over. When they pulled the tooth, he started crying again. When he was asked if it hurt and he said yes (obviously confusing the pressure as being pain), the dentist herself told him, "Why are you crying. It's just pressure. Stop crying."He was also told that if he needed them to stop or if it hurt, then to raise his hand. When he did, he was told not to unless it was an emergency, but she never cared to hear him out or reassure him that everything was actually okay. He left very scared. She did not know how to treat a child with compassion or a concerned parent with proper information. We were not provided with any instructions other than to take a pain reliever. Everything else that I needed to know such as diet, cleansing, etc., I had to ask. When we left, we were asked to pay the co-pay. When I pulled out my debit card, I was told that the debit machine wasn't working and asked if I had any cash. Luckily, I found cash, but it required change. I was then told that they didn't have any change and asked if I could come back. She implied that I should go to a store down the road to get smaller bills. I wasn't going to do that and drag my kids back and forth, so she went next door and "found change". I don't know what type of business they are trying to run, but with the exception of two staff members, they are horrible. Unfortunately, the only decent employees have to be brought down by the rest, which includes the dentist that we had the misfortune of seeing. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed and highly advise avoiding them at all cost!

I love that they never cancel their appointments last minute here. I can always count on them to be there for me. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. They examined my teeth very thoroughly to make sure they didn't miss anything. It was nice to know when I left that everything had been taken care of. I was disappointed that their staff didn't seem to respect them very much. They weren't disrespectful but I could tell they didn't have a very good relationship. I wasn't worried about their equipment. It was safe and well taken care of.
