We have been using Afford-A-Dent for 15 years with great success. We especially like our dentists - Dr. George Dodd and Dr. Bang Nguyen at Rainbow now Chews to Smile in Pasadena. Therer is no need to pay monthyly bills and the service is a fraction of what we would pay with conventional dental insurance.

the insurance membership is affordable but once we went to the participating office, the charges were nowhere close to the prices listed in the insurance brochure. There were all manner of upcharges and we were grossly overcharged by Cinco Ranch Dental. They billed us and when we questioned them about the rates they checked and found they were not even using the Afford-A-Dent rates. They plugged the correct rates into their computer and we were still shocked by their over charging. Its difficult to get actual costs from them but when they provided some details there were always major upcharges doubling and tripling the costs cited by Afford-A-Dent.

I have used this insurance for 16 years. The key is to find the right dentist. You have your choice and I found dr Dodd to be a great dentist. It. This plan has saved so much money. My husband used to pay a high monthly fee and his coverage was the same as mine.

Horrible service!!! I would not recommend this insurance to anyone! They will annually draft money out of your account and require written request to cancel insurance. Once money is taken from your account they wont refund you the money! By far the worst dental insurance I have purchased! They dont care about their customers and dont refund you your money even though it was taken from the account the same day! (What I used my insurance in a day!) DONT GET THEM!

The chair I sat in during my dental procedure was awful. It was seriously harder than a rock. They need to invest in more comfortable chairs. They don't treat their clients equally at all, and only make time for their favorite clients. If they didn't like me, they didn't make time for me. They definitely don't have a good professional reputation within my community. Everyone knows they're not trustworthy at all.
