This Dental office was able to get my daughter in fairly quickly. The impressions they took were not very good. The temporaries that my daughter was given were even worse. They spent over two hours grinding on them to get them to fit and look half way decient. I brought my daughter from three hours away to see them. We get an 1/2 hour down the road and she is in pain and can not bite down to chew. I call the dentist office back and tell them what was happening. I was told that they would talk to the doctor and call me right back. They called back 45 minutes later. Said that they could not do anything at this time since they were about ready to close, Call them back on Monday and they would try to get her in. REALLY she is in PAIN and cannot EAT. I ended up taking her to another dentist to get her teeth grinded down more so she could eat and not be in pain. I called them back on Monday and told them I would be sending them the bill from the other doctors. The gentleman that answered the phone said they were not going to pay it as, I did not let them fix my daughters teeth. Like she could really go three and 1/2 more days in pain and not able eat. There is no one I would recommend go to this provider. One thing I don't like, is that I can't be confident that they'll work with me until they find the best solution for me. I'm always worried they're going to just settle with a solution that only may possibly work,. FOR THEM. I wasn't happy that they didn't ask me many questions and they cut me off when I wanted to give them input. DO NOT RECOMMEND/ stay away!!!!!!

Was the Dentist able to take and develop x-rays in their office?
Somewhat
Was the rinsing sink clean and did they have disposable cups and mouthwash for you to use?
No
Does the provider's staff treat you well?

I had several visits at Canyon River Dental. I provided them with both primary and secondary insurance information and left each time with them saying, “You’re good to go! If we have any issues we will call.” Six months later, I got a call from a collections agency saying I owed money to Canyon River. I never got a single phone call or bill from them saying that I still owed money. Turns out they failed to bill my secondary insurance even though they had all of the necessary information to do so. They never apologized, just simply said they would send in the claims and cut me a check once they received payment from the insurance company. Needless to say, I am no longer a patient at this dental clinic.
