BEWARE OF MONARCH DENTAL SANDY OFFICE! In May 2012 I had a root canal and crown there just before I was leaving the United States (I travel a great deal); a fact office staff was aware of. Before I left the office I asked to settle up any outstanding balance. Imagine my surprise when I was contacted by a debt collection agency in February 2014 for a balance that was just turned over to them ….Unsure if I had left no forwarding address, but Monarch had my cell number and email address. My experience with Monarch Dental at the time services were provided was negative overall - experienced similar problems as several other reviewers, including. 1. Not enough time was scheduled for an initial cleaning thus requiring a return the following week; this because the dental hygienist was only in the office a few days a week and scheduled too tight. 2. Billing in excess of insurance that the patient has to pay the difference. Procedures are upgraded to “specialty” techniques for which they can charge above insurance standards 3. Once my root canal was completed the temporary crown practically dissolved within a day 4. The first permanent crown didn’t fit and had to wait a week for a replacement 5. That replacement permanent crown cracked within four months UNLESS THEY HAVE CHANGED STAFF AND PRACTICES AVOID THIS OFFICE. YOU WON’T GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND THE STANDARD OF CARE IS SUBSTANDARD

was greeted and seen on time, then 3 1/2 hours later for x-rays and cleaning, the drill broke of 2 times in my mouth, then 2 days later woke up with sore throat ,headache and low grade fever, they would not even call in anitboitic for me. WOW ! not sure I will recommend these guys to anyone. I will request records and go else where.

They were so nice and professional and even called me to remind me about my upcoming appointment. They examined my teeth very thoroughly to make sure they didn't miss anything. It was nice to know when I left that everything had been taken care of. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here.
