I was worried that I was going to be in a lot of pain when I left my appointment, but I wasn't at all. I felt absolutely fantastic and my mouth felt very clean. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. They were late a few times to my appointments. I wish they had made more of an effort to be on time. The chairs in their waiting room were pretty average. They weren't top-of-the-line but weren't uncomfortable either. I really like the environment and the stuff the treatments that I got were really good. Thank Dr. Dao.
Personally I recommend this dental office.

Not at all. They closed early even though they knew I needed help

I feel so sorry for your bad experience with Dr. Dao. I had it before with other DDS so I know how you feel about it.

I go to general DDS for cleanning and filling ONLY. That's it. I know they are trying to do other tasks too but they are NOT good for it comparing to the "specialist". May be cost less but that what you get !!!

I know that they learned other tasks while they were at school but to me just for "introduction". I refer to go to "specialist for" for everything else.

I would NOT recommend for orthodontics, though general dentistry was ok. I had such a terrible experience. It wouldn't have been so bad had she and her team learned how to LISTEN to the patient. My teeth weren't bad to begin with and were fairly straight w/some spacing issues. 2.5 years later, the top half of my teeth are skewed to one side and she completely shifted my midline to left of center, thus throwing off my bite and making one side not able to touch the bottom teeth. I asked her about this and every time, it's a different answer. First, she says she knows the problem and can fix it. Then, she says she doesn't think there's a problem. Then, she says my teeth are done and ready for the braces to come off, when there's clearly still work to finish since my bite is worse than before and the teeth are still skewed to one side. So, month after month, it's a cycle of similar rotation of answers. One side clearly has space she can close to pull my midline back to center, but she refuses to do so and doesn't give any reason for refusing. I see pics of cases that are much worse than mine and somehow other dentists manage to fix the teeth. My case is only slight and she can't even fix it. I should have never let her convince me to have 4 teeth pulled. I think my case was only complicated *for her* because she doesn't know what she's doing. Because I already invested so much money and paid her, I have to stick out the treatment but as soon as it's mostly done, I am going to another doctor fast! They didn't have a good reputation at all with all the other dentists I've talked to. They were far to arrogant to get any sort of outside advice, even though they knew they should. I was hoping to see someone that considered my interests more important than what they thought should be done. I'm the one paying for it after all. I mentioned what I observed my teeth doing and it's like she doesn't even care, but you'd think a dentist would care about which teeth are moving to make sure they're supposed to be moving in the right way or not. She would never tell me what she was doing with my teeth which was so frustrating!! When the staff found out that I was consulting other dentists, they made some snide remarks. I wish that they had been more courteous and respectful. The waiting area here is rather cramped. People often have to stand as there is not enough chairs. I am the kind of patient does well with pain, have never had dentist issues of any kind until this dentist. I would say I am more patient than most patients. I do not recommend this dentist unless you want your interests to be ignored and want to waste time and money.
