I was really happy to be treated so well by the Dr Hooshmand and her staff. Their friendliness made me feel very welcome. They have a wonderful reputation in my community and are considered one of the best in the field. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and offer alternative treatments. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. My family and I are all very happy and recommend her.

They were able and willing to answer every question I had. I definitely felt informed. I was not pressured to buy anything extra, but Dr. Hooshmand kept pointing out that I seemed to have a grinding issue even after I said I have not experienced any symptoms. The office is very comfortable, and there is a TV in the waiting room, but it is blocked when other patients are checking in. No magazines in the waiting room, or in the chair. Office procedures need some work. I arrived 10 minutes early for the first appointment of the day and still wasn't seen until 20 minutes after my scheduled time. When I informed them that would not be able to wait any longer, Dr. Hooshmand jumped in to tell me that the office had been confirming insurance the whole time, as if that were my fault for not providing it earlier. I could have provided insurance info when I made my appointment, or done it online had they asked. This was certainly not the kind of defensive response I expected from the dentist.
The electric cleaner left parts of my lower gum a bit raw, too. Frankly, I don't see myself going back, but will be sure to cancel my next appointment well in advance of 48 hours - because they reserve the right to charge patients up to $45 if you don't cancel in advance. I'm new to the area and wanted to support a female-owned business, but will need to find another.

Highly recommend Dr. Hooshmand. My dental visits have always been very comfortable, and I've never experienced any pain. They always go above and beyond to make sure I'm relaxed. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately. When comparing them to others I have visited for the same condition, they are among the best I have seen. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer.
