I love my Hygienist (I can't remember her name but she has family, remembered me and my pregnancy, caught up from last time she saw me, chatted, super friendly), it has been 4 years since I've been there (we switched for convenience, big mistake).

Dr. Behlmer is quiet but sweet, he filled my very first cavities and was empathetic when I asked him to explain resin fillings and porcelin...and the hygienist is probably as awesome as you could ask for. Don't go anywhere else if you can help it.

as a comparison:
I saw another doctor at a Dental Care facility near my home in Bay View that saw a problem with a tooth, told me it was barely "hanging on" and didn't offer extraction or suggest I schedule one. Their website boasted cosmetic procedures but when I asked they informed me they do not.

2 months later and I now look forward to returning to Dr. Behlmer's office where they are warm and actually care about the comfort (both socially and physically) of their clients. The tooth that was "barely hanging on" has had me in agony for days. I look forward to relief and guidance from Dr. Behlmer and his staff.

The dentist really listens to your concerns and questions and you can tell that he respects both his patients and the rest of his staff. All the dental hygienists are friendly, but I enjoy seeing the same one every time I visit (not always an option at other offices). They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. The receptionists are really friendly too and they are easy to reach by phone. Everyone had a very positive attitude and were very kid friendly too (even giving my 3 year old sunglasses to wear during her appointment and letting her choose a toy afterward). The office was easy enough to find, but you could accidentally pass up their office if you aren't paying attention. They are one office in a business building, but their office is very sunlit and comfortable. I have and I will return. My whole family likes it here and they were by far the best dental office we've ever gone to. The only downfall is that they are not open on Fridays.

Worst cleaning I've ever had in my life. The hygenist cleaned my teeth for literally 3-4 minutes - and that included scraping, brushing and flossing. They did not measure my gums for gingivitis like ALL other dentists' offices do. Will not be going back. My husband went for his first appointment later that same day and said the same thing. In fact, while he was there, another patient called and complained about the same hygenist - apparently she left food in his teeth.
