Dr. Shanker is thorough and compassionate. Staff is friendly and helpful. My son has been his patient for over ten years and doing great.

Very good doctor for my son. He takes the full amount of time to gather as much info as possible unlike some doctors who try to rush patients out of the office as fast as possible. He gives the impression that he is concerned about his patients and is willing to explore different meds. not stick to ones that aren't working.I have had to wait after my scheduled appt. time on occasion but not too long. I have taken my son to several Psychiatrists in the past and he is one of the best I've been to.
