I am currently struggling with Dr. Germin's office regarding payment. He referred me for genetic testing for a clinical trial that he assured me would be covered by insurance. Usual practice would be that the tests are charged to the drug company conducting the trials. So despite Dr. Germin's assurances, I am left with a bill for over $1200.00 that is not covered by Medicare or my private insurance. As a retired person this is financially burdensome.

The person in the billing office response was "Medicare will not pay for a "rule out" condition". I am well aware of my condition, informed Dr. Germin of the same and he still insisted on testing for the clinical trial. The person in billing is out until 7/6 and no one else can assist.

I have no comment on his clinical practice but his business practice is not commendable.

Scheduled quickly. Follow up tests were extremely quick. Dr Germin discovered my spinal stenosis and referred me to a specialist. A million thanks to Dr. Germin!

Doctor Germin is a well educated, tremendously knowledgeable and caring physician, with a vast comprehension of neurological conditions and treatments. The fact that the office offers hyperbaric oxygen is very ahead-of-the-times. While conducting nerve tests, needles and measuring devices were used. Dr. Germin's bedside manner was the best ever, chatting amicably and getting my mind off the procedure being done, easing any tension away. When the results came in, he offered a variety of avenues for treatment, allowing me, the patient, to be empowered over the future control of my health. Las Vegas is a lucky town to have such a competent healer in her midst. In addition, the whole office was about the best run medical office I have ever encountered. Everyone behind the desk was pleasant and sharp. That speaks well for a neurology office! My appointment times were all punctual and I was never left waiting. Finally, it was a nice change to see the Food Network being the TV channel of choice on the monitors in the waiting room. I hope that you never have reason to visit a neurologist, but if you do, you have found the best here. Overall a five star experience.

Dr. Germin, John and the entire staff were terrific. They did everything in an extraordinary timely matter. I am extremely grateful and appreciative beyond words. I am extremely grateful to have made the acquaintance of such a fine professional group. Very sincerely.

I have gone to several doctors since my accident/head trauma in 1996. Dr. Germin is my favorite by far. He is always very professional and talks to me as a person, not just a number. He never looks down on me and he actually cares. Thank you!
