I had a full hip replacement in May 2011. After 6 months my pain returned. After repeated visits, MRI, CAT Scan, x-rays I was told to go away for 8 weeks and let the implant settle. I went to Mass General for a 2nd opinion. They said replacements fit or not from the start, they never settle. The implant was loose! I had to have a complete re-do in July 2012. I am very disappointed with the quality of care and the inability to diagnose my issues.
