I had 3 children delivered by him and I liked him. He stood up for his patients and by the way I saw a very well respected dr in ridge wood who kept seeing me fir years knowing I couldn’t conceive. One visit with this dr he looked at my file and knew exactly why I couldn’t. I thank him for my infertility children after 7 years of trying Thank you dr reisman

The worst Dr. I ever went to in my life! He is not properly trained and I checked, whoever posted he isn't board certified is right, he isn't!

He talks dirty to patients, asks to meet them after work for you know what. He even behaves like that in his local town too with very young women.

I think he may be on limited practice due to a brain clot. He is blind in 1 eye now and walks with a walker or cane.

Stay far away for yours and your baby's health.

As "Wanted to sue" said, his episiotomies are not his forte putting it very mildly! I am living with a cystocele AND rectocele due to a butchered episiotomy done by the same Dr. (BTW: See a lawyer about a suit if something was done horribly wrong, don't be afraid.( " In the state he practices in, the law is 2 years from when you would reasonably found out the medical care was substandard." Another poster mentioned his cocky arrogance, she hit the nail on the head! He asked a patient once when out of gloves in the exam room "Wanna rough it Babe?" I pity his wife b/c he flirts w/ patients that are even just decent looking.
He is not a board certified OB/GYN as another poster stated. The other 2 posts say "they" not him or Dr. They seem computer generated or someone knew nothing about him, comments were too generalized.
All in all, I would tell even someone I don't like to PLEASE NOT USE THIS DR in the best interests of their health or the baby they might be carrying. Good health wishes to all. Anon as I am afraid to enter my name

They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. They were so easy to reach in an emergency, they answered my call immediately. It is a relief to know that I can count on them to always be there for me when I need them the most. They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice. They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy.

Loudmothed, foulmouthed oaf with no respect for women who is interested in making lots of money and nothing else. Still butchering his patients with outdated episiotomy techniques. I wish I had sued him but I lost the nerve.

Definitely, they make everyone feel equally respected and cared for

Barry M. Reisman is not a board certified gynecologist or obstetrician and never had been. Always use a board certified M.D. in their speciality! It can be the difference between having a healthy baby, a successful surgery or life long health problems.
I have used this doctor personally and was very unhappy with his bedside manner, skill and the problems I wound up with due to his lack of following medical standards.
Please educate yourself before seeing any doctor and I don't advise you use this one. He's an older man with no board certifications. He was in trouble for being an owner of a Surgi Center (see this link to confirm.) http://www.state.nj.us/oag/ca/bme/orders/20040308_25MA02643100.pdf
His delivery privledges were suspended at Englewood Hospital years ago, I do not know if they were re-intituted.
Do your research before using any specialist, this man is not one and has caused some patiented damage that was unrepairable.

Be very careful with all of your doctors.
