we've been on the search for a good psychiatrist for years, and we finally found HIM! he is knowledgeable , takes his time, and is always on time for appointments . Denise at the front desk is awesome!

Dr Colon is fastidious about patients. He has managed both daughters for 10+ years. Have seen others, can't compare the results and that is what I care about.

Never returns phone calls, When you ewally need him he is not there, probably at the gym.

I don't reccomend Dr. Colon to anyone looking for a psychiatrist for ADD/ADHD. He doesn't remember what medicine he prescribes you, he is impossible to contact, he doesn't call you back in a timely manner, etc. I have never been more frustrated with a doctor before.

He is also expensive and a waste of money for the attention/help you get.

I've been to one or two places that had a really bad smell. I was worried I would encounter it here too but I didn't notice anything. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert, but am dumnbfounded as to why we could not continue the urgent session with doubling thecost. It just wasn't moral.

Absolutely not! I was never uncomfortable
Did this psychiatrist give you undivided attention?
Definitely! They made an extra effort to make me feel special

Dr. Colon is wonderful physician - very caring, accessible and insightful. He takes the time to get to know his patients, unlike other psychiatrists who simply prescribe medicine and he has done wonders for my son. I highly, highly recommend him.

Overall, my experience with Dr. Colon (He pronounces it "Cologne") was negative. His office didn't provide the out of network insurance forms, or submit them themselves as other psychiatrists due, the receptionist didn't return phone calls when I attempted to get an earlier appointment, and though I was going through mental crisis and my OCD/BDD was apparent and historically diagnosed, was not offered medication on my first visit and had to schedule again to receive it.

My perception was he was more concerned with his self-image (finessing cufflinks, overly proper) and money than he was with offering patients care.
