Great Doctor, HORRIBLE Office Staff
I took my newborn son for a circumcision consultation at two weeks old. Dr Fleischer was amazing- very friendly, great with my son, and took the time to explain every detail until I was satisfied. Two days later when I tried to schedule his circumcision surgery was when the problems began. Apparently there is only one individual in the office who can schedule surgery and since she was on vacation we had to wait a week and a half until she returned. Upon returning, this individual advised that his surgery could not be scheduled because his insurance coverage was not in place, even though I explained that it was in progress and he would be covered by that date (who's baby is born with insurance coverage anyway? No other doctor office had any problems with the situation). I called back several days later when his insurance was in effect, and was told by the receptionist that since it was after 1:30pm, surgery calls could not be taken and I needed to call back the next day. Now we are at two weeks past my original request to schedule the surgery! Reluctantly, I called back the next day, spoke to the scheduler who advised me she'd call me back with a date; I never received the return call, so I called later that day, and was again advised by the receptionist that surgery calls could not be taken at this time... WHAT?!?! When I expressed my frustration about this, I was told that the scheduler was still catching up from her vacation, and that I would be called on Monday because they were waiting for a pre-certification from my insurance company. Well my insurance does not require pre-certs for a one day outpatient procedure, so they apparently concocted a lie to buy themselves more time. There was no office manager available to speak to, and the doctor was not in the office either. Unfortunately I have to stick it out and go through with the procedure here because I would have to go through the whole consultation process if we decided to change doctors at this point. Do NOT torture yourself by going to this practice!

Definitely! They staff spoke very highly of him/her

Definitely! They always call me back very quickly!
