I found Dr. Farhi to be very easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. Her office is kind of "old fashioned" in that she personally did my blood work. I thought that was amazing in this day and age! I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Farhi is an extraordinary physician. What makes her a cut above is her willingness and ability to think in the gray area, a place where most doctors dare not go. Quick black and white answers won't do. Rather, Dr. Farhi, even with her busy and robust practice, spends the time thinking through your complaint, contemplating how it fits with the entire picture of you as a patient, And if there's a problem, she is with you, by your side, rooting for you along the way. All the while exerting her intelligence, brilliant insights into human physiology and her steady hand. She's the kind of physician whom you trust without question. And she also happens to be a lovely, compassionate person. She has cared for me and my family for years and I can't imagine ever going to another doc.

Dr, Farhi is obviously a tremendously bright person with what are likely unusually skilled almost intuitive diagnostic abilities.
Her staff is caring.
However Dr. Farhi in some ways seems oddly disconnected from the actual person of her patients.
The administration of a routine stress test turned into a near disaster when, although present in the room, the doctor seemed almost distracted, leafing through notes , and seemingly unaware of the fact that the patient was laboring dangerously beyond what might be considered reasonable. The test went on too long, pushing the patient into a serious danger zone, forcing the doctor to dispatch her secretary to the nearest ER with the patient...all of this was understandably rush-rush...the patient was given the choice either go across the street to my friend the doctor who does CT angios -- or go to the emergency room. When patient who was feeling quite ill, somewhat disoriented and understandably confused chose the hospital ER over the doctor ac ross the street...Dr Fahri sent her secretary out in the street to hail a cab in the pouring rain.
Did the doctor think the patient was having a heart attack? If so, were these appropriate choices?
Doctor willing to share the EKG of the stress test, but is categorically refusing to write a report of the stress test.
You decide.
You may be diagnosed with rare precision...but end up dead.
