This doctor is not only incompetent and has not kept up with medical information likely since she left residency but she is nasty. She didn't know basic current derm treatment. But the worst was I had a progressive dermatology infection all over my body and she refused to do a biopsy even though my doctor called and she said she would. She said it was not necessary because she knows what it was but couldn't give a name and gave me an antibiotic cream. Then months later it erupted everywhere and she finally did a biopsy which showed a fungal infection in the follicles. I am now completely disfigured because of her negligence. And even though I kept saying it's in the follicules she refused to believe and would only do 1 shave biopsy. But the worst was when I came in when it erupted all over my face, neck and arms crying she blamed it on me and said I ruined by face. But she would not look at it because she did not want me to take my mask off. Then she fraudulently billed insuran

Dr Kaplan is one of the best dermotolgist in the area. I hv known Dr. Kaplan for many years and have always found her more than competent, very caring and most plesant in her demeanor, If you have an skin issue her office is the place to go.

I generally visit Dr. Kaplan once a year to renew a prescription for an acne cream. I grew tired of the miserably long waits at her office, and how she would stroll in 45 minutes late, fail to apologize, spend 4 minutes with me, and send me on my way. I recently called her to fix an incorrect prescription and to tell her that I planned to find a new doctor. She launched into a bizarre speech about how she was worried about my health. She said she had looked back at photos of my skin and is now concerned that I'm using the wrong medication. She has been prescribing that medication to me for about 8 years. She just noticed? Definitely time for a new doctor.

I felt the staff was friendly enough. They didn't go above and beyond, but they did their jobs. Dr. Kaplan is great and loves what she does. Office is clean. At times, I spend a little too much time in the waiting room but better than most other doctor offices.
