I have never been one to post any reviews because I think that we all have bad days and more often than not someone becomes victim of the occasional grumpy employees that are over worked and underpaid. After a particular encounter with Mayra the receptionist at the Glendale Medical center I felt it was necessary to share the disappointment I felt after my interaction with her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sebastiano for the last 22 years, currently seeing by Dr. Angelina Mananova . The doctor and her nurse are nothing less than exceptional and their professionalism and customer care has always been consistently excellent.

January 28th I called to speak to my doctor to share some concerns and with a very dismissive tone Mayra, the receptionist tells me that the doctor is at lunch without even offering to take a message. I asked to please let the doctor know I needed to speak to her. I never got a call back and several hours later I tried to reach out again and she told me that the doctor was with a patient. I asked if she could please relay the message and she answered that "the message is there" and said nothing else.

The healthcare profession is one that's very unique because it requires patience, an understanding tone, and lots of empathy because the person on the other end is going through something challenging that if they could fix themselves they would. But sick patients put their care and vulnerabilities in the hands of the folks that hold the key to some relief and to be treated with nothing less than respect, decency and a little courtesy. I believe it's completely unacceptable. I love this office and this doctor, but I do not want to continue to feel like I have to put on an armor before I call to speak to my doctor. I hope this behavior gets addressed and this receptionist gets some customer service training soon.

The wait wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best

Not at all! They were happy to address every concern I had

Not at all! I had to schedule an appointment for absolutely everything!

Never! They have lots of business, but they do such a great job of never overbooking.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. All of my questions were answered, and the office was very easy to locate.
