I'm surprised by the other reviews here. Stuyvesant Town is a bad neighborhood???? (Sorry that one cracked me up.) I love the gals in the office--I feel like I'm seeing old friends when I go in there but then I'm the type who talks to everybody. Belok knows his stuff and has been in the business a long time. He doesn't have to refer you out for an EMG because they have it in the office. When I go I'm miserable in pain and, no, Belok doesn't hold my hand and wipe my brow but he certainly doesn't make me feel worse as some do. They help you try to find a specialist who takes your insurance. The office is cute--has personality. When I left yesterday they had me take a B vitamin right out of the bottle. How bad is that?

THE 2 SISTERS,SO CALLED OFFICE MANAGERS ARE MONSTERS.
Am not sure if they have any COMPASSION...!!!!
I video taped their treatment ,and will post it every where.
Just waiting if Dr. is going to return my calls.

One of the worst experiences, was referred by a primary doctor. Dr Belok's staff was extremly rude. Not only to me, but also watched how disrespectful they were to an elderly lady. Dr belok completely lacks bedside manner, jumped the gun on me having a neurological disease only after i had one symptom for a few days and not the laundry list of others. Immediately sent me for MRI and then i had to call the office to get the results. I even went so far to alert my primary doctor of my experience. It seems some doctors get it in their heads that you have something and basically already diagnose you with it with out even seeing results. I would say dr belok falls into this criteria. Would not send anyone here!

Definitely, they had one person trying to do everything

Not at all. It was obvious they didn't care about me

Not at all! I had to schedule an appointment for absolutely everything!

Yes, I was completely ignored for a long time!

No way!! Be aware it is very unsafe and I was scared

I just called Dr. Belok's office with an acute neurological problem and asked for an appointment. The receptionist is unbelievably obnoxious - I just cancelled an emergency appointment with the doctor because she sas so appallingly rude and unhelpful. I've seen this doctor before for a different injury, and his treatment advice was useless as well.. He referred me to a hand therapist who badgered me into buying therapeutic tools at grossly inflated prices. I will never visit this doctor again, and I strongly advise you fo find someone else.

They answered my questions and spent a lot of time with me. I didn't feel like they were trying to rush my appointment at all. I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart.
