He told me my baby would not last thru the pregnancy bc if a medication i was taking. Found out tears later that was BS! & he tried to do a D & C w/out anesthesia! Horrible dr & human being. No bedside manner! Nasty man!!!

Dr. Robert R. Weiss STAY AWAY! I had a D and C by Dr. Weiss many years ago. He did it in his office, with no anesthesia- just some oral pain medication to take the edge off. I was is excruciating pain, and had heavy bleeding for over a month. When I called to let him know, he just blew it off like it could take time for bleeding to stop. I didn't know at the time that this is not normal and an indication that something is wrong and I shoukd have went to the er. The d and c was not performed properly. He did some internal damage. Dr. Weiss always seemed creepy and angry to me, but I just ignored my intuition since I needed the procedure done asap. After reading the other person's review on here, I realize that I am not alone in believing he is unethical- doing harm to his patients, then avoiding them and pretending as if nothing is wrong. Doctors like him belong behind bars.

Dr. Weiss, nearly killed me. I had my daughter in 2001 via c/section after a long labor. Dr. Weiss had a fight with the delivery nurse during my delivery. While in recovery, I was bleeding out. Dr. Weiss was called several times and ignored the nurse's concerns of my bleeding out. In the end I was brought back for surgery 3 hours later for a 3 and a half hours of extra surgery to repair the mess he made. Needed 8 units of blood (80% of my blood was transfused!!!) woke up in the icu on a respirator unable to breathe on my own. spent 5 days in ICU and another week in maternity. I went in to have a baby and didn't go home for almost 2 weeks and in tremendous amounts of pain. I was told a blood vessel ruptured hence needing additional surgery. I requested my records after (on recommendation of nurse!) and read that is was a severed uterine artery!!! And I empathize severed!!! I bled internally for hours b/c he was too arrogant to listen to the nurse. I should have sued him but I was so thankful to be alive at the time, I believed he saved me. When I finally realized he almost killed me , 9/11 happened and I let it go. I should have at least sued him so others knew what an arrogant man he is and did not have to suffer the way I did!!!! Besides being afraid to get pregnant for many years after, he cosmetically ruined my stomach. I wish there was no statute of limitations b/c I would so pursue this so that he could not do this to anyone else. The only positive thing I can say the staff at Bethpage OBGYN were very nice. He was not!!!

They always make sure to return my phone call as soon as possible. They've never left me waiting. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for.
