This doctor and his wife once had an English sheepdog that bit some kids in their neighborhood, I think even their own. So their solution was to sell the dog to my parents. I was 3, my brothers about 7 and 11. The dog attacked and nearly killed me the morning after we got him. They denied responsibility. My family sued them. No one thought about PTSD back then. I’m fifty now and have suffered most of my life. I haven’t forgotten what happened to me or the people who did it. They should have been put in jail. Despicable human beings.

Dr. Feinstein was my doctor when I moved away from Ithaca seven years ago. He practices in his home, and his office is comfortable. He's a wonderful person, and a caring doctor, and I hope to be his patient again when I move back there this summer.

I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. He has never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. I've noticed a significant improvement since I've started my sessions. He has been able to help me quite a bit. He really made an effort to get to know me. I really liked they took the time to explain my treatment's risks and benefits clearly. They made sure that I understood everything before I started treatment.

They've stayed open past their closing times many times when I've needed help. They've never turned me away when I've needed them. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. They did a very thorough investigation of my medical history to make sure that I would receive the most beneficial treatment. I felt like they really cared about me.
