They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. I wasn't too impressed with their office, I could tell they didn't take much pride in it's appearance. I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. Every time I've called and left a message, I've never heard back. It's extremely annoying. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. I have a 4 mo old baby and i have been in dr. Mienko's office 6 times because my baby was born at 5 pounds full term. Every time i went there and i had questions or concerns about my first baby, she had only one answer: don't worry about it...but in reality i NEED IT answers because i needed guidance. Besides that, every time when i had a question like: what do i need as remedy for his teething pain i WAS told that i need to come to see the doctor, i never got a simple answer without paying for another visit. The last incident i had with her is that she missed to see that the head of my baby is uneven, has a strange shape; i found online that he has deformational plagiocephaly that can be corrected up to 8mo or so. When i told her that she miss diagnosed my child, she gave me attitude, did not admit anything and blamed me that i didn't say anything, which is not true. I was aware of this problem since the day one of my son's life. But I have to be the one to tell her if she is correct? isn't she the doctor making assessments on babies? Even more, because i GOT frustrated with her, she left the room, my baby was naked waiting to get the 4mo old vaccinations that at the end she refused to do just to punish an upset mom. I told her that I will never come back as a patient and not to punish a 4mo old baby because of me but she refused to do it. My baby was crying because it was in a cold room, undressed for quite a while...still continued to ignored us...we left both crying...another immature and greedy doctor who knows how to punish his patients who are paying bills on time. But i WILL file a complain to the Dept. of Health for what she did. The worst doctor i ever had to deal with...

They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. I felt very rushed. They barely spent two minutes with me and almost completely ignored me. The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office. They always have toilet seat covers, paper towels and toilet paper and never run out. When I told them that I wanted to get a second opinion, they didn't get upset at all. Their reaction gave me even more confidence that they had my child's best interest at heart.

I have been visiting Dr. Mienko for past 5 months with my son Ethan (yeah i hope she is reading this) with bad-to-worse results. Just today, my appt was at 1pm with my son having a bad cough and few other things. I show up at 12:45. At 1pm a lady comes in with a 5 year old with cough and says to the receptionist "hi I have a 2:15 appt but I would like to be seen earlier, I have things to do, if possible". Around 1:45 I was taken into the exam room (one of few)...and was not seen by the doctor till 2:30. Right before that I realized that the "2:15" lady has already been seen by the doctor in another exam room, meanwhile I am waiting with my 5 month old son like an idiot! So after that the doctor comes in, assesses the child's cold saying that it will just go away. OK. Then I ask about his reddish eye lids that he is scratching constantly - her response "oh it might be allergies, kids get those" - not even a fukin check whether it actually is allergies or something else. Then even a better one - I show her something on his skin (bumps) and she replies to my total amusement " yeah not sure...it might be a skin virus, it might go away after few weeks". That sorry excuse of a doctor would not even spend more than 5 minutes with a child there, just tripple booking the office to rake in more money. What a SCAM! I'm already reporting her to the insurance carrier for this inexcusable treatment. She should not be have a veterinarian license, let alone be a pediatrician. And yes, It has not been much different on other occasions, but this was the last straw! Stay away from her!!!
