My wife saw Dr. Anderson because of elevated thyroid numbers. Although there was no FNA of the thyroid or even at that point an ultrasound, the doctor strongly suggested removing the thyroid entirely and prescribing thyroid medication which would have to be taken for the rest of her life. We were stunned. No alternative therapies were suggested. In fact, the doctor attempted to intimidate me by saying, " If it were my wife, I would want to do the right thing." That approach was patently unprofessional and personally offensive. He claimed to do 80 thyroidectomies a year, to show he had experience. What it told me was he is in a racket to make as much cash from surgeries as possible, at the expense of sensitive treatment plans for appropriate patients. My wife has treated her issues through natural medicinal approaches, and her thyroid has shrunk to non-threatening proportions. I would avoid being snowballed by this physician. Surgery should be the last option, not the first.

Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. They were very courteous and polite, I was impressed. They treated everyone as equals and made everyone feel welcome. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times. I've been places before where they were argumentative and angry, so I was nervous that I would encounter that here as well. Instead, they were very calm and understanding the entire time. I could tell they really care about everyone who visits them.
