I had a reliable ophthalmologist that I routinely saw in Manhattan but she didn't take Obamacare. I thought I'd switch to someone closer to my home. I had a detached retina years earlier so twice a year I see a retinologist.The specialist I saw for years was also not on Obamacare. Trying to score an appointment for a retinologist was a nightmare. I tried to get Dr. Hirschfield to help me get a referral and an appointment with a retina specialist who took Obamacare, but got no help from his office. He also seemed personally very uninterested and dismissive. I ended up going to my prior retinologist who gave me a reduced rate since insurance didn't cover my bill. Disappointed with Dr. Hirshfield.

I was very satisfied with my visit. staff was friendly and I was seen in a timely manner. Dr Hirshfield is very professional yet compassionate. Answers all questions and always seems interested in what I have to say. He has taken wonderful care of me and my family and I recommend him to everyone.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. They had an optical on the premises. I would highly reccommend this doctor.
