When I called to make the appointment I told reception what I wanted done and they chose a doctor. Once I saw the doctor, he said that he didn't perform what I was there for and referred me to another doctor, but not until he performed a costly test. By my third visit I spoke to a doctor who was able to answer my question, however I was charged for all of the repeat procedures. I think it's a scam to collect more money for each unnecessary visit. Not to mention the office is dirty and unsanitary.

I was really disappointed with the front desk people at the ENT allergy Associates in White Plains-NY. They were very unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment two days before going there. Before my arrival, I called and they said they didn't have my info and that I was supposed to call at 9:30am to confirm. I had no idea i had to call to confirm. I would assume that once you call to make an appointment you dont have to call them back unless you have to cancel it. I called them at 9:45 to tell them that i was going to be 5 minutes late for my 10 am appointment. Unfortunately, they had taken me off from the list without even calling me to let me know. I asked them if they had another slot and they said they had one at 10:30am. I decided to give it a shot. I waited until 11:40am until finally someone saw me. The doctor was good but the administration staff was TERRIBLE. It seemed like they cared less about their patients. They cared less about finding solutions for their patients and they did not let anybody know that they were running behind schedule or apologized for the inconvenience. Would I go back again? NEVER! I wouldn't want to pay to go to a doctor to have to deal with a stressful situation with the front desk people.

Just my first visit to the physician generated the following:

ENT-Allergy, White Plains, N.Y.
Physician’s Patient Plan: three ENT procedures and an MRI requisition

Tests Charge
99214 170
(Physician) 31231 505
69210 87

95004 650
(Allergist) 99203A 200
99213A 122
95004 585
95024 240

92588au 153
(Audiologist) 92585 263
92584 198
92547 600
92543 360
92540au 164
92557au 98
92567au 44

99213 122
(Physician) 31575 300

MRI 965
Blood Test 93

Total 5919

-Dr. said he wanted to be thorough. I only learned of the charges (above) when I got the bills. A total of almost $6000. Dr should have informed me that there were significant charges prior to drawing up the plan.
-I said I did not have any allergies. Allergist’s charge was almost $1800. ENT testing showed no allergies.
-Audiologist charges were over $2000. The Audiology group supplied me no written feedback. Audiologists Associates tested my hearing and gave me a report for ~$150.
-MRI Test: Dr.’s MRI requisition sheet contained a significant omission. I had to go back to the ENT office for a prescription. Dr. ’s requisition made no mention that a blood test was a prerequisite. Another month after the test , I gain had to go back to the ENT office to get the results. Dr. then told me it had been my responsibility to obtain the results. If it was important enough for Dr. to requisition an MRI at a cost of $1000, then it was important enough to have Dr. interpret the results and to have discussed them with me.

No action on these problems was reported back to me.

They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place.
