They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I'd go back. I sometimes think he does too many tests but that's better than none at all. I do have to go in for an appointment in order to get my prescriptions refilled which is very costly and I feel, unnecessary, since the medications are for medecine which I've taken for years and is not high risk.

My husband has been seeing him for around three years. It all started out very well.He seamed to be a very good doctor. Then he would have my husband come to his office a lot .I'm talking about several times a week.Always doing all kind of test on him.My husband has a week heart and he would tell him not do do anything, but everyone knows that you have to exercise to strengthen your heart. Then he started to have stomach problems and was in a lot of pain.So he sent him to some other doctors to find out what was wrong with him.So one of the doctors put him to sleep and went down his throat, didn't find anything. The next step was ct scan. The ct found a hernia.Well Dr Blackburn took some heart test on my husband to see if his heart was ok for surgery.Something showed up wrong an he said he would send the test to his heart doctor to have it checked out.We never heard anything about the test so my husband had the surgery. The surgery was fast and he was getting ready to go home and had a heart attack. He had three blocked arteries had to have three stents put in.When he went to see his heart doctor after the heart surgery. The doctor said to him you you haven't had and problems recently prier to this surgery.I looked at him and said yes he had some test that showed something wrong and Dr Blackburn was supposed to send them to you before he had the surgery .His heart doctor never got the test and knew nothing about it.My husband heart attack could had been prevented if his heart doctor had gotten the test and fixed the problem before the hernia surgery. My husbands heart was not strong enough to go through the surgery at that time. Now my husband has more heart damage because of this new heart attack. How can a doctor over look something like that my husband could of died. The bad thing is my husband really trusted Dr Blackburn.
