Dr Christensen is an excellent surgeon. I had a 75% loss in the right eye and 50% in the left. After the corrective lid surgery I can see much better and my wife says I look much younger. He is professional and seemed truly concerned about ME.

I was a patient of Dr. Christensen beginning in 1983 when he repaired a "botched" surgery done by another physician. He inserted a Jones tube (artificial tear duct) and repaired cosmetic damage done by my previous dr. When the Jones tube needed replacing 31 years later I did not think twice. Even though it was a 70 mile drive one way to see him I had Dr. Christensen install a new one. He did a super job and it works and looks great. I will definitely recommend them to people I know who are interested in getting something done. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I had a lot of questions about cosmetic enhancement, and every .

I had a great experience with Dr. Christensen He improved my vision so much the world looks brighter His staff is great an helpful. Dr. answers all your concerns an explains why an how the procedure would go. Very concerned an works hard to get it right. If you need it done right he is the person to see. Had my upper lids done after he did such a great job on my lower eye lids.

I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. Whenever I have a question, even if it's very basic, they always make me schedule an appointment, which is extremely frustrating. It doesn't matter how many times I come here, they just cannot seem to remember my name and they make no effort to even try. I'd rather go to someone else who might actually appreciate my loyalty and business. They didn't follow through with almost everything they told me I would get when I first arrived. I feel like they slighted me. It's shocking how little they seem to care about customer service. From my experience It appears as if customers are never put first here. The staff is incredibly rude and seem to care more about themselves.
Dr. Christensen took me for a lot of money , about $16.000.00 dollars that was not applied to my insurance in any way. After 3 horrible surgeries and 6 months later I was still in bad shape. I went 9 months and could not drive and needed a caretaker. Now after 4 more surgeries and 2 years later I still do not and never will have good vision again.
PLEASE, do not let this man touch you. Run, don't walk as fast as you can and find a real DOCTOR.

Dr. Christensen and his staff were very professional and helpful throughout the time he cared for me. He was very knowledgeable and explained thoroughly my diagnosis, surgical procedure, and followup care. I would definitely use this surgeon again for future procedures and recommend him to others.

I saw Dr. Christensen for Thyroid Eye Disease, and it was a terrible experience. Not only did he have me in tears on my very first visit, but he used scare tactics telling me I was going to go blind to get me to agree to have a bunch of unnecessary risky operations. He also seemed to talk more about how I was going to have to pay, because these procedures weren't covered by my insurance more than he EVER spoke about what outcomes I should expect from the surgeries - but he would try to reassure me that I was VERY lucky that I had come to him, because of how great he was! Give me a break. I ended up doing my research, and found an actual world renowned specialist at UNC. He told me that I wasn't going blind, and that I didn't need those surgeries at all. The surgeries I DO need are very simple procedures, that would be covered by my insurance. When I told him that the previous doctor told me that I was going blind, he just laughed and said "you saw Dr. Christensen didn't you?" and shook his head.
