They were so impolite to me during my appointment. They were extremely discourteous and bad-mannered. I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications.
For a woman that has practiced doctoring and medicine for over 35 years, I am appalled by the way she can just limit your food intake while in a hospital with out knowing a single thing about you except what is on paper. I am overweight and NON-diabetic with perfect blood pressure, and a straight head on my shoulders. I wasn't in the hospital for my weight and I was put on a diet soon as she seen my weight on papers. According to her first hospital visit to check in on me, she kept insisting rudely I needed a therapist because I called my grandparents my mom and dad. (I lived with them my entire life, they took care of me. OF COURSE I would call them my mother and father.) She was very rude, and made me feel so little and beneath her for sitting in a hospital bed for an issue with cellulitis in my right leg. (I needed an IV antibiotic.) I would never recommend her to anyone. I almost had to 'beg' her to remove the diet restriction of the 1200 carbohydrate controlled diet. When I asked her why, she said 'wouldn't it be nice to lose a few pounds while you're here?' I was there for my leg, I was in a lot of pain and the last thing I need to do is worry about my weight while I am in the hospital. WOULDN'T it be a miracle to lose 100 lbs in 4 days I was there...? Very doubtful. I can worry about my weight when I am home.
