I was very unhappy with the service at this provider. While the reception area is not the foremost reason for my dissatisfaction, it is severely outdated and gloomy. The sign-in service is antiquated, as I had to give all of my health and insurance information before the appointment was scheduled and then again while I was there. Supposedly, I was already on file in the system so I can't imagine why theywould need this information twice. The phone system states that you may be required to be on hold for 15 to 20 mintues to make an appointment. It's ludicrus as to why anyone would wait longer than 5 minutes to make an appointment. When admitted to an exam room, the aide (?) asked me all of the same questions again without looking at my file, so again, I'm not sure why you would complete any of the information if they're not going to use it as a reference. The resident doctor did not arrive at the exam room until after an hour, and this wait may have been longer if it wasn't for my opening the door to see if I could find someone to see if they had forgotten about me. I eventally left with the expectation that a prescription would be waiting for me at my pharmacy. After two attempts to pick it up, I called Forbes Family Practice (FFP) again to alert them that the pharmacy had not recieved the prescription. Forbes Family Practice assured me that it would be emailed again right away. The following day, I again visited the pharmacy and it had still not arrived. Again, I called FFP, and they're office wasn't open until noon. I waited until noon, called again and was told by the receptionist that no doctors were in the office and that she would leave a note for them to resend the perscription. At this point, I gave up. I can't wait another day to get relief for my sinus infection and will go elsewhere. Additionally, I will not be returning to FFP due to the lack of repect for my time waiting in the office, on the phone, waiting for my prescription, etc. I would advise against anyone thinking about utilizing this practice for their medical needs.
