Dr Russek and, his staff person, Christine are very nice people. They always worked me into their schedule when I was having an extra hard day. That kindness fooled me into staying with this doctor longer than I should have. After seeing a number of clients' reviews say that he prescribed the wrong medication, I had to write a review too. He said I had bi-polar disorder and put me on those type of medications. I had a severe reaction to one and was feeling worse on the other one. I fell into a very deep depression and he kept telling me I would feel better but I didn't. After more than a year, I finally left his practice and found a new psychiatrist. After interviewing me, the new doctor told me he saw no signs whatsoever of a bi-polar disorder. He slowly transitioned me to new medications and I am feeling so much better. I should have left sooner but I trusted him. Please, if you are not feeling better within a few months, don't be like me. Move on to another doctor until you get the one who actually listens to you and gives you the right medications.
