I transferred my records from a wonderful psychiatrist in York, PA to Dr. Leib due to Dr.Leib's office being much closer to where I live. My "issues" that I was seeking continued treatment for were Adult Attention Deficit Disorder, and anxiety and depression. My depression was very linked to my hormonal cycle, and was very manageable. My ADD has been a difficult issue for me all of my life. I struggled so hard to focus and stay organized and had to work 10X harder than the average person in college. I managed, but as life got more and more busy and work involved much more management skills and organizational skills, and focus....I struggled and went to a doctor in YORK. He prescribed me Ritalin, and it was like a lightbulb turned on....I could focus on what i was reading, pay attention to my task at hand, even if there was a lot going on around me...for the first time EVER!
So, I should not have, but I wanted to go to a doctor that was closer for me....not an hour away. Upon first meeting Dr. Leib, she was very condescending and arrogant. Immediately felt like I was placed in a position to feel defensive about wanting to remain on Ritalin. I chose to take the smallest dose I could manage on, and in time, tried to only use it when I had a lot of reports to write and deadlines to meet. I missed one of my visits with her, and was charged a $50 fee, (that's fine, I understood that , it was my mistake). I paid it, rescheduled...appeared for the appointment, and her greeting to me "what brings you back here today?" I said "i need a script for the ADD", otherwise I'm doing fine....she said, "well you're not getting one here....you haven't used it as recommended.". HMMM...I used it "as needed.....sparingly....stretched out a 3 month supply to 5 months....my other doctor told me that is fine....I know of many children who are told "just take it when in school, or when you need to focus for homework". She said she will not prescribe me any and If I want some I should find a different doctor. She never had dialogue with me, just an arrogant, demeaning, unprofessional attitude. I was very offended because I read up on medications prescribed, I do my research, I don't like taking medications, I try to take only the minimal amount needed. She made me feel absolutely disregarded and there was no need for that. I am a professional who also has clients, and I am absolutely disgusted with her lack of respect, lack of empathy, and horrendous communication and social skills.

She is horrible scammer and black-mailer!!!! She will milk insurance, double your appointments, call family members tell how horrible you are doing and try to convince them that you need more appointments(They will get pissed off because none of what she says is true!), black mail you with collections if she cancel her un-needed appointments, and WILL file a psych report to the DMV to remove your license upon canceling. She thinks she is the only one who has the power to sign that DMV psych report,but will throw it on her desk with out reading it. She refuses to *sign it* until you double more appointments! We lawyered up, that is BLACKMAIL!!!!!!!! Do not go here for any reason!

This woman angered me quite intensely and I am normally not a spiteful person but this time I will make sure I let as many people know what a snotty self-righteous arrogant individual you will have to deal with. Lucky she is a female and I have a certain degree of courtesy, but if a man would have talked to me the way she did, as I mentioned in another review somewhere, I would have cracked his skull open. Pure insolence and preconcieved bias on her part.
One of the first things she does when I come in she accuses me I smoke marijuana and I act like a 16-year-old. Calling me immature is just really a cheap shot and precisely because I am mature I dismiss it and can care less. Just got home from a 12 hour shift, I own a car, I own a three bedroom home and I am a landlord and my tenants are very happy with me hitherto. But this "M.D." sits in front of me and after I had quite recently passed a drug test for my job, without inquiring about this sort of thing, decides to call me a big mama's boy teenager pothead. Wow. Like I said, if it was a dude I would have told him to step outside and settle it like men... But I am no longer angry only I will most definitely confirm the statement made in another post above that she is bias, a crude bully, and acts as if you the patient somehow need to be degraded in order to justify that you are the cause of your own problems. Well, if this is the case for all people then why get involved with psychiatry in the first place? Get a job as a district attorney prosecuter or a cop or something...
And she got paid basically to attack my honor and question whether I am entitled to be treated with any dignity. Wow. How tactful.
Stay away from her people, there are plenty of other rather pleasant shrinks around, who can at least provide a pleasant conversation. With her it's more like a chastasing monologue as opposed to dialogue between two human beings. And I am sure she considers herself a model citizen. If she is a model citizen, God help us all.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. The office was easy enough to find. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.

Pam was absolutley horrible to me. Not only did she she break confidentiality codes with telling me information from another patients sessions, she was just down right rude. And SHE IS BIAS. She totally used this session to verbally beat me up from the information provided by another patient.
When I missed one session, she billed me $50 which seems fair enough...IF SHE DID HER JOB RIGHT AND BY THE LAW!!!!!! Then sent that payment to ma collection agency that was rude and harassed me until they reported it to the credit bureau. Well if my $50 was that inmportant to you Miss Pam, I'm sorry but you will never see it. And FYI, I reported you to Harrisburg...Good Luck!
