They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional. One of my pet peeves is bad breath, and one thing that I have always noticed about this provider is that they never have bad breath. I've never even noticed a smell at all. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered.

They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. I wasn't worried about their equipment. It was safe and well taken care of. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. I really admire them for being more than willing to ask for help from other professionals in the field when they don't have an answer to my question. They aren't even slightly arrogant, and I'm confident they always have my best interest at heart.

I have been visiting Dr. Dickson for a year now. I started out with just an eye examination. I was so impressed with his exam and bedside manner I was very excited to go ahead with his suggestion to have my cataracts removed. He extracted the left eye cataract in December 2007 and then the right eye cataract in January 2008. After my follow-up appointments we discussed having ptosis repair and blepharoplasty. He discussed in detail the procedure, risks and benefits. He also had his assistant discuss the price of this procedure as well. I had my procedure at the Columbia Eye Surgery Center just around the corner from his practice. I was well cared for by all. I have recommended him to several of my friends and family members. Those that have visited his office will tell you that he is a wonderful doctor as well as a special person. I will say this as well...his front office staff needs to be reminded that courtesy is required when dealing with the public. I have worked in the medical field for over thirty years and I have never encountered such rudeness in a practice where the doctor is so nice.
