I won't forget the delivery of my son....Dr. William B. Harris, Jr. is listed on my son's records as the physician who delivered him, but in all honesty, it was the registered nurse was who delivered my son. Dr. Harris was in the hospital, and checked on me during labor. At that time, my son wasn't ready to arrive. My husband's & my family were out in the hallway waiting for his birth. They told Dr. Harris that I was having my baby, and he walked on down the hallway, and did not come in the room and check on me until after the R.N. delivered her first child, our son. When he did come in the room after his birth, he looked at my husband and congratulated him...It has been over 13 years now, and I see that Dr. Harris is no longer with East Tennessee OB-GYN. It looks like he is practicing at a different office. I was so disappointed in him. I will make note that he was not the physician I would regularly see at ET OBGYN in clinic. They did schedule my labor to be induced because of high blood pressure, and I don't have any complaints for the rest of the physicians or staff at ET OBGYN. I would not recommend him because of our personal experience. I know people can change, and I hope he has. I hope he was able to learn from that experience, and I hope it has made him a better physician now.

They could've used quite a few more staff members. They were very understaffed and I ended up having to wait quite awhile. They called me with my test results fairly quickly. I was happy with their promptness. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone.
