Dr. Pennington, while I have great respect for you, I'm not happy with the care I have received from your associate, Dr. Sheffey. His response to my questions have received very little, to no explanation, resulting in my being unable to understand what he is trying to convey.

The day of my colon examine, he arrived after 8 a.m., looking somewhat like he had just gotten out of bed and put on his wrinkled scrubs. while I found the staff at the surgery center to be very friendly and professional, he did not present the same professional presence. I've never seen that of you.

While he may be a good doctor, he does not present himself in the manner I would expect from someone in his position to present themselves. He never covers his mouth when he coughs or sneezes, which really concerns me.

I was suppose to receive a call for an appt. for a test he was asking for on Thursday of last week or no later than Monday of this week, I'm still waiting on this to happen. I think you would agree, this is not the manner in which you would want to conduct business.

I regret feeling the need to submit this, but I think you need to know my feelings concerning the care I am receiving.

If I need surgery at some point in the future, I will absolutely be going back to visit them again. They did a fantastic job. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. They are always so attentive and caring. They take the time to really listen to all of my opinions, and address all of my concerns. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. I have had excellent post-op results and am so happy that I chose Dr. Pennington. If you have to have surgery, you can count on this surgeon to perform above all standards.

I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. She consistently dismissed my concerns and seemed uninterested in helping me at all. In fact, Dr. Pennington's verbal and body language suggested that she would rather be anywhere but in her office listening to my concerns. I don't trust Dr. Pennington to ever actually look into my concerns and see if they're valid. I would never, under any circumstance, suggest her to a loved one.....or an enemy.
