DO NOT ever go to Dr. Kathleen Brooks!! I saw her through the Dr. on Demand app and she was HORRIBLE!! I had used the app earlier in the day, seeing a different doctor about my 7 year old son’s eye, but at that time the doctor could not see any discharge in my son’s eye. From the very first question she asked. “Umm didn’t you just use this service an hour ago for the same thing??” I told her yes and tried to explain why I was calling back and she cut me off and told me “she doesn’t give second opinions” and then read off exactly what he told me and how it is just allergies and added that “sometimes when kids are really stuffed up and they don’t blow their nose enough, the mucus comes out of their eye”. I am not a doctor, but I have never in my life heard of that. I am, however, a mother who has seen her son struggle with allergies his entire life and know the difference between him sick, or him just being allergic to a dog, cat, grass, or something else in the air. She very rudely told me that she isn’t going to give a 2nd opinion and that she “isn’t going to go against her collogue”. Baffled, I told her I have never heard of anyone not giving a 2nd opinion and that my son is in a ton of pain and I’m just trying to get him help. To which she angrily told me “I don’t know why you are being so rude, that is just the policy I follow!” I told her I’m not being rude, I’m trying to help my son, and people go to get a 2nd opinion every single day for absolutely everything, and I’m just trying to show you that he DOES have discharge and it is not just allergies. He needs medicine so he can get better.” She then SCREAMS at me! “GO GET YOUR SON BACK IN HERE THEN AND I WILL LOOK AT HIM!!” She was so angry that she was shaking as she was yelling at me. I was blown away and calmly asked her WHY was she getting so mad and upset? That I am just a concerned mother who is worried about her son, and she is a doctor who is supposed to be helping people feel better. And that she was so angry that she was actually shaking while yelling at me! Instead of talking to me, she HUNG UP on me! Instead of doing her job as a doctor and helping patients, she hung up on me and left my son in pain! My son DOES actually have PINK EYE! He DOES need actual EYE DROPS to treat the pink eye! And because he was seen by an actual doctor who CARES about their patients, his eye is already getting better! Instead of just looking at his eye, and realizing that you can now see the discharge that the first doctor wasn’t able to see, Dr. Kathleen Brooks REFUSED to help a CHILD, didn’t CARE that he was in PAIN, SCREAMED at a worried mother, and HUNG UP on someone who was trying to help their baby! It might be your normal policy to “not give a 2nd opinion” but she did not have to be so disgustingly rude about it. If she actually cared as a doctor, she could have easily told me “we don’t normally give 2nd opinions, but let me take a look to see if I see anything different”. I HOPE and pray that Dr. on Demand will go and watch the call I had with her! She should NOT be a doctor! She should be fired and NOT working for Dr. on Demand!! And she definitely should NOT be allowed to care for children!!! Anyone who is even THINKING about having her as a doctor should know that she doesn’t even have the humane ability to care about a child’s well-being!! DO NOT have her be your doctor!

They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. I was so impressed with how great they were at answering each and every question I had in-depth. They were so patient, and covered all of the bases until I had no more questions. Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities. When I arrived for my appointment the friendly staff seemed to be waiting for me. I've been to other places where I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment, but not here. I was very impressed.
