I really love Dr. Axmann. She is very progressional and courteous but sad to say I will never go to her again nor will I recommend her to anyone. I had a in office procedure done that I was told was the price of my copay. I never signed anything contradicting that, nor was I given an EOB. I also asked several times about extra costs since the procedure was optional and our money is very tight, I told them all I could do was the copay. No worries they said it is only $60. 1 month later received a bill from the anesthesiologist for 900. To get to the point I have been going back and forth for the last 2 years. Carol, office manager told me she was sorry and and did get it down to 240. Since I was told 60 and never signed anything I do not think I am liable but if they turn it over to a collection agency it will ruin my credit, so I am stuck. If they had told me this to begin with I would not have had the procedure, their response "Sorry" It also took 9 months for them to turn my well visit to the right department and then only when Blue Cross called them was it taken care of . I do not trust them anymore, we are a family of 5 and we have 6 different Drs we have never had this happen before. I feel I was lied to and I am incredibly disappointed on how the whole thing was handled. I have consulted a lawyer who said I was in the right, but I just don't want to deal with court costs. Dr Axmann is aware of the situation but that did not change anything. I just want to make others aware

After seeing numerous doctors, and having numerous procedures, I decided to do careful research to find a female doctor who specialized in middle-aged women's issues. At my first appointment, I discovered a former co-worker worked for Dr. Axmann---yet, it was never awkward, always professional. Dr. Axmann put me at ease in our first conversation, we identified some interests we had in common, and she was able to pinpoint my problems immediately and recommended several options, while letting me make the decisions best for me. Her exam was never uncomfortable, and the procedure I chose to have was reasonably priced (with my insurance), available in her office, and the professional staff was just that...professional and caring. Within 2 visits (one with a multi-faceted procedure), she was able to completely resolve several problems I had been dealing with for years! I recommend her highly to all my friends.

It's been quite some time since I've been a patient of Dr. Axmann. She delivered my older daughter in 1995. I came upon this survey while seeking her address so that I could send her a grad announcement for the wonderful child she helped me bring into the world 17 years and 10 months ago. I've recommended her to countless friends over the years. I could not have been more pleased with her, her partner, her staff and the amazing nurses who took care of me from beginning to delivery.
