I am a former professional athlete, former lawyer and now am a senior professional at a large financial firm in Dallas. I’ve been around fitness, health and medical providers my entire life and interacted with doctors from most disciplines. For anyone reading this, Maryann Prewitt was/is the most unprofessional doctor by far I have ever been in contact with on any level. Unprofessional and not the right temperament to be trusted providing procedures of the kind she is marketing herself to provide, at least not of high quality. And rude to the point it borders on extraordinary. I am telling you, caveat emptor on this on (buyer beware). Do your own research but life is too short, and there are so many other competent doctors in the Dallas area to choose from. I would not go to this Dr for even a skin procedure.

I can honestly say that I have never met a more incompetent and rude doctor who could not care less for her patients. She spent the majority of the appointment talking about herself and how her mobile app for her practice is so great. It felt like a sales pitch or personal ad. I could deal with that if she hadn't called in the wrong prescription for me twice and then berated me to the point where I was in tears about how that was my fault. I came very prepared to my appointment with a list of the medications that my insurance covers. She proceeded to prescribe me to something that was not on that list and I was forced to pay $60 for what ended up being the wrong medication. To try to rectify this, I spent hours on the phone with the pharmacy and my insurance company, only to find out that she had called it in incorrectly. When I called back to Dr. Prewitt's office to get this corrected, she/her staff called in the wrong prescription AGAIN. It wasnt until I got the head pharmacist on the phone at Walgreens (who was actually very helpful), who confirmed that the doctor had called it in incorrectly again, that I was able to resolve this. Dr. Prewitt's office staff was nice and helpful, but her nurses are just as incompetent as she is. However, at least they didnt interrupt me and berate me on the phone. I had a very mediocre experience while in the office and a truly terrible one when I went to get my prescription filled. The only silver lining is that getting an appointment was very easy and the wait time was minimal. Of course, that makes sense because she's just a mean woman and didn't have any other patients to take care of that day, apparently. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for an OBGYN goes elsewhere.

This OBGYN must not have a very good policy about following up when they shouldbecause they sure don't very often. The restrooms in this OBGYN's office had most things I needed. My appointment with this OBGYN was a waste of time. The OBGYN's staff discouraged questions so I got the idea they needed much more supervision and training. This OBGYN was cold and clinical and not at all compassionate. My 1st appt. since moving here from North. I seriously thought I was on candid camera. She asked me zero questions about my past health, and ii have a history with breast cancer, never asked even when doing my breast exam and I'm obviously missing a breast. Never asked about mammogram schedule or even gave me a script for one. Answered her phone while in room w/ me right before my exam.....Crazy, completely unprofessional.... Now I need to find a real doctor

No, it was expensive.

The staff didn't seem to know very much, they couldn't ever answer my questions

Somewhat, but it's still difficult to get an appointment

Absolutely not! I was never uncomfortable

Not at all, they were glad to help me with anything I needed

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

I have to totally agree with these previous reviews! She is now "all about the money"!! She has moved to 75 and Forest Ln. I use to really like her and her staff, it was obvious that they cared. Much more then her location, staff and attitude has changed.......

This MD is troubled. Rude, leaves the room to keep answering her cell phone. My appt has been rescheduled on several times due to MD calling in sick. Always speaks over you. Appeares disoriented. Staff has completly changed over the last year and it now seems like the spa has closed completly. Something is not right at this medical office.
