I started seeing Dr. Gallentine when I became frustrated with another psychiatrist. By comparison, Dr. Gallentine is a jewel. I just have to come in every three months for a "med check" -- but she is aways available if I need more. This is exactly the kind of attention I need.

Her office assistant could use some sensitivity training and an attitude adustment.

I stopped seeing Dr. Gallentine after she flat out refused to assist me on the psychological side; she only wanted to prescribe meds for me, but would not delve into WHY I needed assistance. She wanted me to see the LPC/Counselor that offices with her. I never understood that. I think she's lost the desire to really listen and assist her customers. Plus, Roger Hamilton is a little bitch. I've actually seen him roll his eyes at patients, and he was verbally rude to me on two occasions that I can remember.

I was seeing Dr. Gallentine for a second opinion on my diagnosis of Bipolar 1 Disorder and regarding my lovely med cocktail. I have had the same shrink for 10 years and he has ALWAYS been able to get me stabilized. But for the past year we have had difficulty finding meds that work., so per my internist's wishes I sought a second opinion. And I was NOT IMPRESSED. She the typical shrinks you see on TV. If I were to tell herl, as a hypothetical, that 1+1= 2, she would ask, "What makes you feel that way?" And she could't keep up with my examples of my issues. My current cod has zero problem keeping up with me. I find Gallentine to be judgmental and condescending. Avoid her if you want real help.

I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. I was very glad that they didn't leave me unattended during my consultation.During my appointment, I knew that I always had their full attention. They listened to everything I said without interrupting. Their entire office was immaculate. It was obvious that they took very good care of it. Everyone in my community knows that they are the absolute best in the field.
